An IDEA

Most of us (engineering students) prefer to have job in the more developed areas or metropolitan cities along with high pay package. And we are opting for that on the ground of “right to have good lifestyle along with all the modernistic facilities after that sort of higher education”. And this belief is more under the students of high ranked colleges especially among the iitians. This is further enhanced by low salaries in jobs at rural level. The absence of qualified engineers in the development programmes initiated by govt. of India is also among the main reason behind “Why they are not as successful as they can with the capital govt. is raining in them.” At the first level itself, young graduates are discouraged to accede to these programmes by having low packages and absence of or of lower quality of facilities and this also prevent them from thinking for the good of the nation, for the rural development.
If there is high pay in these programmes for the more qualified engineers, there may be the chances that fresh graduates can go to next level where they don’t have to worry about money and their family survival and the feeling of patriotism can ponder in their mind. Govt. is spending so much money to make these programmes a success, then why not it can allocate some to this cause, if this can contribute a lot not only to its success but also better designing and design life of structures and roads built in these schemes. Isn’t it a better investment, and there is no risk in taking chances if it can bring young qualified engineers to this level.
